CLANCY ROSE: Alright, and so now we are going
to talking about the first thing that is going to go into the process of making the double
latte which is the beans that you use. One of the most common misconceptions about espresso
roast is that–that coffee is roasted darker for espresso which is not necessarily true.
You can use whatever coffee you want to brew espresso. What makes espresso espresso is
the process that you go through in making it and the extraction process of the coffee.
It is a super saturated solution so the–the volume of coffee, the ratio of coffee to water
is a lot higher than it would be in a regular cup of coffee. You are going to use a lot
more coffee for a smaller amount of water. Basically, in choosing a blend for a double
latte, you are talking about two shot–two single shots of espresso in a cup with about
12 ounces of milk, 14 ounces total. So you are just going to want to choose an espresso
blend that is–that is to your likings and also bold enough to cut through that amount
